o ered to provide both the concept and design work pro bono. “We were happy to support the Warriors with our expertise creating a competitive logo and style guide,” said Mr. Malmholt. “We believe that it will help motivate the players and increase their identi cation with the unique FIS spirit“
After a brie ng to better understand the school’s hopes and dreams – and collect and review all of the previous concepts – designers set to work. “There is no singular process,” said Mr. Sasseville. “Being empathetic and listening reveals the essentials or truths needed to push brands into the desired direction. Ultimately Orange Hive came up with  ve terri c logo options that were then narrowed down to the three that the FIS community voted upon. “Quite honestly, I would have been happy with any one of them,” Mr. Moncrief said.
Now that a new logo has been selected, the next step is implementation. With hundreds of pieces of equipment – including uniforms – the process will take time. The Athletic Department will use the new logo on upcoming tournament materials and the brainstorming process is
now in play as to how the logo will be displayed elsewhere on uniforms, in the Stroth Center and on the sports  elds, and other FIS fan wear.
Mr. Moncrief remarked: “The new FIS Warriors logo is an integral part of our ongoing evolution of o ering competitive athletic opportunities to as many students as possible, striving for broad participation and competitive excellence, encouraging the highest levels of sportsmanship and fair play with a primary concern for the physical, academic and emotional needs of our student-athletes.”
