Staying Connected
The FIS Alumni Association - a worldwide network
One of the great things about FIS our current students or parents may, or may not, know is that FIS has a large and active Alumni Association.
This vibrant community of alumni engaged in business, academia, public service, the arts, medicine, and a variety of other professions, numbers over 2,400 people worldwide and is growing.
The Association serves as a useful resource for stay- ing in touch with FIS and major school news, con- necting with other alumni, and professional and ed- ucational networking
The Alumni Office holds alumni reunions around the world each year, including a Young Alums Winter Gathering in Frankfurt; a ski trip to Austria; and 10, 25, 40, and 50 Year Celebrations at FIS during Worldfest Weekend. In addition, there are alumni-or- ganized events around the globe that FIS supports; this year there were six such events – three planned by the Alumni Office and three planned by alumni – spanning locations from Seoul, Korea to Nashville, Tennessee (USA).
Association members are also able to look up other FIS Alumni Association members within a password-pro- tected online directory on the FIS website. It’s a help- ful tool that allows users to search for FIS Alumni by city, country, or graduation year and contact them via email.
Current Alumni Association members are located in 47 countries throughout the world with 45% residing in Europe, 45% in North America, 9% in Asia, and 1% in Australia, New Zealand, and Africa. All FIS gradu- ates or students who moved away prior to gradua-
tion, former FIS parents, faculty, and staff are all eli- gible to join this dynamic group.
FIS alumni enjoy the involvement they have with the school and its extensive network of other alumni. We look forward to you joining the ranks of FIS Alumni and hope you will find this lifelong connection to be enriching and rewarding as well.
